Senior Client Director, Change Management and Communications – Nine-Month Contract

We are looking for a Senior Client Director, Change Management and Communications to join our talented team for a nine-month contract (with potential to move from temporary to permanent).

 

About the opportunity

 

A key senior member of the team, you will lead the development and implementation of change management and communication strategies that meet complex challenges and improve business performance for clients in the pharmaceutical / biotech and life sciences sectors.

 

You will own senior client relationships (at least ExCo -1 / -2 levels), lead skilled, virtual teams, and help drive and grow the business further. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Director with experience in leading, designing and delivering complex transformation projects who is looking for a forward-thinking and progressive opportunity in a growing consultancy.

 

About the role

 

Key client responsibilities include:

 

  • Developing and implementing change management and communication strategies, plans and deliverables that meet complex client challenges and improve business performance
  • Partnering with (multiple, concurrent) clients to understand and define their brief, develop strategies and make those strategies a reality across the company
  • Providing expertise and innovative ways of working to ensure communication is clear, concise and engaging across multiple business locations and change is embedded effectively
  • Managing plans and resources, leading virtual teams and collaborating with in-house teams to deliver the project deliverables
  • Coaching and developing senior business leaders to drive business change
  • Generation of breakthrough ideas and frameworks to help solve client problems

 

Key business responsibilities include:

 

  • Growing existing client accounts, identifying and executing organic growth opportunities as well as developing business through their own network
  • Lead/supporting proposal submissions and business development initiatives
  • Ownership and delivery of forecasts and capacity plans for clients and projects
  • Developing and supporting the whole team to drive business growth and talent retention
  • Sharing sector experience and latest thinking to support colleague development and business growth

 

What we look for

 

We’re looking for candidates with strong senior level consulting experience, ideally with some experience in the Life Sciences sector. Candidates need to have managed people and performance (both virtual, including third party and agencies, and in-house teams) and have senior client management experience (at least ExCo -1 / -2 levels).

 

The ability to think creatively and outside the box to support client needs is essential, as is senior level change and communication experience. Candidates need to have experience in leading, designing and delivering complex transformation projects across multiple / international locations. We are also looking for experience in growing new business, both organically and ‘new’ new business, including an ability to design and articulate solutions through a proposal process.

 

We pride ourselves on our entrepreneurial approach to client issues and communications, therefore candidates need to be able to demonstrate their ability to think innovatively and strategically. Strong people and client management skills are essential as is the ability to deliver results through ambiguity with energy and enthusiasm. We’re also looking for candidates with strong attention to detail and who enjoy seeing a project through from beginning to end.
